The term "forum" originally comes from Latin and at that time stood for a central square in cities of the Roman Empire, which was used as a marketplace or for public assemblies and the like. For us on Jasmund, it stands for an idyllic place to meet and socialise right next to the UNESCO World Heritage Old Beech Forests.
